Arena Tournament issue

This is the 3rd time where Im near the finals, round 5 or 6, and all of a sudden cannot connect to the hosted lobby.
I really like the idea of the arena, and try to participate as often as possible, but it is REALLY discouraging that I take the time to join the tournament, participate and heading towards the end each time, I cannot connect to the lobby.

Ive luckily been able to win 1, others usually fall at 3rd because of this issue.

This issue is a real turn off from the feature. I messaged my opponent and asked if he could connect to the lobby, and he could just fine, which is what happened before late round. He said that the same thing happened to him frequently as well.

Again.. I love the idea of arena.. but I do not think i’ll be participating in that again until that is addressed.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

What I would like to know is how do I find Xbox arena? I don’t know where to go to find it.

If your NOT in the preview or insider program, you see only weekend tournaments. By going to the KI game hub, and tabbing over to tournaments, its not visable on weekdays if your not in the preview program.
In the preview program, follow the same steps, you should see it for the entire week.. practice tournaments.

OK so will there be a time when the benefits of the preview group become standard features to all Xbox user? And if so when?

I can assume so, every feature standard users have, the preview group has for months before to test out .. so who knows.

You need to quit KI from the home menu, launch it again and then you should be able to join the lobby. It’s a pain and it needs to be fixed. A full half of the tournament matches are no shows and people who can’t get in the lobby.

Pretty much this. It’s still in early development, and there is a lot to be fixed, but when it goes smoothly, it’s really good

Is it possible to watch tournaments?

Oh so it’s supposed to be on the games home screen?

Yeah if you go to the game hub and scroll to the far right there’s a “tournaments” tab. If you open the one you are participating in it should give you the option to play your current match.

It should also send you an invite in Xbox live and in game as well but it doesn’t always work.

Yup, did that about 3 times. Worked once before, early on. Didnt work a couple times, and you have about 5 minutes to join, so i can only restart about 3 times and hope lol.
